Letters To My Friends

In the summer of 2022, I was in a bookstore. Letters to A Young Poet called to me from the shelf. I went home and devoured it.

A couple weeks later I was in a different bookstore. Letters to a Young Athlete called to me. In its opening pages Chris Bosh, a retired NBA superstar, references Letters to A Young Poet as one of his favorite books.

I want to leave a record of my time with my friends. I want to capture the things I learn from them and share the nuggets of wisdom I happen across.

I want to write. I want to share. I want to live knowing that I exposed myself to heartache and loved fully despite my fear.

So this is for you, my friends. And it’s for me.
